BAPTISM: This morning we have the opportunity to participate in the sacrament of baptism as Zachary Glenn Vander Woude, infant son of Glenn & Rhea, will be baptized. This morning we will be using the new URC approved baptismal form. If you would like a copy of this form, please email the church office at curcoffice@cloverdaleurc.net MISSION PRESENTATION: Elysse and Liberty Barrett will be doing a presentation about their recent mission trip today during the Sunday School hour. The Adult Sunday school and the 7th through 12th grade catechism classes will all go to the sanctuary today to hear the presentation. SUNDAY SCHOOL: Because of the mission presentation the Sunday School children will have their singing time in the Fellowship Hall today after the morning worship service. Next week the SS will meet in the sanctuary for singing. THE ELDERS will meet this Tuesday, October 28, at 7:30PM here are church. If you have any concerns that need to be addressed by the elders, please see any elder or pastor prior to Tuesday’s meeting. Please also remember the elders in your prayers. ATTN JR. & SR. HIGH YOUTH: The Jr. & Sr. High Youth will be meeting this Wednesday, October 29, for a trip to the Corn Maize. You may meet us at church at 6:45PM or at the Corn Maize at 7:15PM. The Corn Maize is on the west side of Meridian Road, just south of Columbia Road (www.idahomaize,com). The cost for the Maize is $4 per person. See Pastor Ryan if you have any questions. MEN’S BIBLE STUDY will meet for prayer and Bible study at 6:15AM on Thursday, October 30. We will be studying Romans 7 as we go through chapter 6 in MacArthur’s Romans study guide. THE LORD’S SUPPER: In anticipation of joining in celebration of the Lord’s Supper next Sunday we are called to prepare our hearts and minds in the week ahead. SEE’S CANDIES: Once again, to help you with your holiday gift giving, the Senior High Youth Group is offering the See's Candies for sale beginning today in the foyer. You may stop by the table and pick up an order form. All orders must be in by November 16 for a December 5 delivery. All proceeds from this fundraiser will go towards the Sr High Youth Group’s Mexico Mission Trip this summer. SOUTHWEST BOISE BIBLE STUDY: Beginning Monday, November 10, the Southwest Boise Bible Study will present The Truth Project. This 13-week study, produced by Focus on the Family, will take us on a tour, looking at life from a biblical perspective. CADET PINEWOOD DERBY: The Cadet Pinewood Derby will be held this year on Wednesday, November 12. Are you up for a challenge?
