Meeting of solidarity for the liberation of the Cuban Five Heroes was held in Antigua and
Barbuda
Antigua and Barbuda -22 June 2013 – At headquarter of the Cuban UNECA´s brigade was made a central meeting activity of solidarity to demand the release of our Cuban Five Heroes, prisoners Empire.
Ing. George Goodwin, a graduate at Cuban University and president in Antigua of the Committee for the
Liberation of the Five read a statement condemning this injustice and demanding their immediate release. At meeting were projected video, read statements and the posters exhibition ¨End the
Injustice¨ was opened. The Ambassador of Cuba José Manuel Inclán Embade made the key speech of the activity and thanked the different actions of solidarity and reiterated the need for continuing in this noble endeavor to achieve the return of our heroes. The event was attended by Dr. Harold Lovell, deputy leader of the ruling UPP and Minister of Economy and Finance. There were also presents Officers and members of the Association of Cuban Residents, Antiguans graduates at Cuban universities and Cuban collaborators from health and construction sectors.
