This is a part-time position in support of our daytime classes. Responsibilities of this position may include: Develop and present the curriculum as stated in the course syllabus Develop and prepare various teaching methodologies appropriate for the specific course and content Prepare, administer and grade evaluation criteria to assess student progress Maintain accurate attendance and evaluation records Ideal candidates possess the following qualities: Student-centered philosophy in support of academic excellence Excellent verbal communication skills Effective problem-solving and interpersonal skills Passion and enthusiasm for the subject matter Creativity in teaching models for adult students Requirements of this position include: Faculty must meet the academic credentials required through the affiliation of accreditation agencies and the State of Texas Career School and Colleges Nursing degree (BSN, LVN) or equivalent clinical credential OR Non-clinical degree with equivalent clinical work experience Experience as an educator in any form; classroom, online, seminar, in-service training Daytime availability is a requirement.
