L o a r b y o r a t N e i n Brachial plexus 1. Using the cadaver material in the lab, be able to identify all the structures listed in the section - Structures to identify in the lab. 2. Use your visual image of the brachial plexus to help identify it on the cadavers. Note the relationships the nerves of the brachial plexus form with the surrounding muscles and bones. 3. Know the innervation of each muscular compartment or group in the shoulder, brachium, antebrachium, and hand. 4. Recognize that nerves and vessels course together in the body in common bundles. Note which vessels and nerves are situated together. In most instances, vessels and nerves that share common pathways have similar names. Structures to Identify for the Quiz To encourage you to prepare for the lab so that you can get the most out of your laboratory experience, there will be a quiz at the beginning of the lab. To prepare for the quiz in this lab, you should be able to identify all the "Basic Labels" on the following photographs from the Superior Limb Module of the Human Anatomy Interactive Atlas CD. There will be five questions on the quiz from this material. In addition, there will be five questions on the quiz from the material you studied in any previous lab. These five questions can be anything in those labs from the Section titled "Structures To Identify In The Lab". These review questions will help you keep on top of past material and not forget it.
