Presidential Report:
NSNA National Convention: Vanessa and Giselle need to know who is going and who is
not going to Nashville by January 13, 2014. Giselle C. wants to book rooms as soon as
possible before they sell out. We will book 4 directors to a room- get ready to cuddle!!
Hotel rates are at 189/night (5 night stay estimated at 1321.94). Will look for less
expensive accommodations if possible. NSANYS by laws does not include RD travel to
Convention. But in order to include them, Giselle and Vanessa will review the budget
with the Advisors. Please be advised that we may have to remove Food reimbursement
d/t high cost of hotel and flight.
Convention will take place Wednesday April 9th to April 13th. Giselle C. would like
everyone to fly in on the 8th and possibly leave Saturday April 12th. April 13th is a
Holiday, and flights would be much more expensive. Giselle C. may have to fly in on the
7th in order to meet with NSNA Susan Wong, and COSP planning committee.
Treasurers U, and Resolutions Planning are also scheduled for the 8th. Resolutions
authors, and Treasurer-elect are welcome to fly down on the 7th as well. See the
attached tentative schedule posted by NSNA.
