Action Item – Approval of Appointments / Reappointments to the
Committee on Technology Accreditation Activities (CTAA)

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
As recommended by the CTAA at its 4th – 5th January 2008 meeting, and endorsed by
the APC at the 15th February 2008 meeting, the EAB is requested to approve the
following list of appointments / reappointments to the CTAA. The appointment of
Thomas Hall as CTAA Chair is to replace Larry Hoffman, whose term as CTAA Chair
ends in April 2008. The appointment of Ece Yaprak as Vice Chair is to replace Thomas
Hall who has been elected CTAA Chair. The appointment of Michael Loudis as member
is to replace Douglas Corteville whose term as CTAA member expires in April 2008.
The appointment of Arnold Peskin as member is to reinstate him to the committee.
Arnold was a CTAA member who left the committee to become an IEEE Representative
Director on the ABET Board of Directors. Mr. Peskin did not complete his CTAA term
and his position was never filled. There is no financial implication to the EAB.
