Job Description: January Partners is seeking an outstanding candidate to work directly with the
Managing Partner. The Private Equity Intern will help identify new investment themes and
acquisition candidates while assisting in all aspects of the investment process. The Private
Equity Intern will take a lead role in the evaluation of investments, working with deal
intermediaries and directly with company management to locate and qualify good businesses.
The Private Equity Intern will also help shape investment themes through primary and
secondary industry research. The candidate will also perform valuation analyses and financial
modeling to vet opportunities. We are seeking a proactive and energetic individual who we can
cut loose on an industry segment to bring back investment opportunities. The role is an ideal
way to break into the investment management, private equity, venture capital or management
consulting industries, or to begin an entrepreneurial career. Past January Partners interns have
moved on to positions with Wells Fargo Investment Banking (2), Red Ventures, the Duke
University Endowment, and CrossKeys Investment Banking.
