Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance - Find Assistance Programs: Searchable database of federal grant programs available to state and local governments, domestic public, quasi-public and private profit and nonprofit organization and institutions. CRS Report: The Congressional Appropriations Process This CRS report, last updated in December 2004, is an excellent introduction to the U.S. congressional appropriations process. Federal Funds Express: Contract and Web Resources Resource page, compiled for congressional offices, covering public and private Web links to various funding categories. Federal Grants Wire: Federal Grants Wire is a free resource for federal grants, government grants and loans. It has over 1600 current federal grants, listed by agency, subject area and by name. Federal Register: Main Page: This resource is an electronic searchable version of the Federal Register. Published daily it contains all the current grant solicitation notices issued by federal agencies. FirstGov.gov-- Government Benefits, Grants and Financial Aid Fundsnet Services Online: Government Funding Resources Grants.gov: Grants.gov allows organizations to electronically find and apply for more than $400 billion in Federal grants. Grants.gov is a single access point for over 1,000 grant programs offered by all Federal grant making agencies. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services is the managing partner. Legislative Service Commission The Ohio Legislative Service Commission (LSC) was created by statute in 1953 to provide technical, research, and fiscal services to members of the Ohio General Assembly. Available at its web site is information regarding legislation, budgets, research reports and analyses on issues of topical interest.
