e-RD 2 B STUDENT AGREEMENT

1. I am a current California WIC employee or a current graduate of a WIC dietetic internship
and have completed the education requirements for dietetic registration no more than one
year ago.
2. I agree to adhere to a 2 to 4 month Study Plan that I develop with a monthly schedule that
includes the days, hours, sections to be studied and completion dates.
3. I will study a minimum of 10 hours per week and attend live or recorded WebEx classes as
are scheduled.
4. I agree to maintain contact with the Coordinator and contact her immediately if I have any
difficulties adhering to my Study Plan or if I am unable to progress as scheduled.
5. I understand that if I am unable to complete the study program or do not pass the RD exam,
I may request readmission within one year of the date I first entered the study program.
6. I understand that I may be removed from the program or denied readmission if I do not
maintain appropriate contact with the Coordinator.
I have received a copy of the “e-RD 2 B RD Exam Study Program (January 2012)” and
agree to the policies listed above.

RD Exam Study Program
(January 2012)
Description:
Preparing for the RD exam is like training for an athletic event. It requires preparation, practice
and a winning attitude. Passing the RD exam, is more than having the knowledge, it’s about
building confidence and testing skills with the computerized testing format. The program will
help you design your Study Plan using the most current and effective resources available. It is a
structured online program monitored by the Career Development Coordinator with study
resources, weekly assignments, WebEx classes and online practice exams.
Policies:
1. You must be a current California WIC employee or a current graduate of a WIC dietetic
internship to have access to e-RD2B study program and have completed the education
requirements for dietetic registration no more than one year ago.
2. To request admission to the program, complete and submit the “e-RD2B Program
Request Form and Agreement.”
3. Each student must develop and adhere to a 2 to 4 month study plan with a monthly
schedule that includes the days, hours, sections to be studied and dates for completing
any practice assignments or exams. A minimum of 10 hours of study per week should be
scheduled or more depending on your timeline for completion.
4. Participants are required to attend live WebEx classes or recorded classes. Live classes
are scheduled 30 days in advance. You must have high speed internet access and a
computer with a microphone and speaker.
5. At the successful completion of each section, students will receive access to the resource
materials for the next section.
6. Students must consult with the Coordinator as soon as they are experiencing any
problems adhering to the Study Plan or are unable to progress to the next section or they
may be removed from the program.
7. If for any reason the student is unable to complete the study program or they do not pass
the RD exam, they may request readmission within one year of the date they first entered
the study program or 30 days from the date they last took the RD exam.
8. The Coordinator reserves the right to remove a student from the program or deny
readmission.
