MULTIMEDIA COURSE OUTLINE
SUBJECT: Multimedia
GRADES:
10-12
TEACHER: Mrs. Wrobbel
CREDITS:
1.5/60 hours
SUMMARY: In this class you will gain experience in using multiple technological
devices to produce various multimedia projects. You will become familiar with Skype,
Flash, Movie Maker, use of digital cameras and scanners and presentation devices.
I.
Objectives: The students will:
a. Design and record radio ads.
b. Create your own stop-motion animation. (Claymation)
c. Utilize enhancements such as, animation, photo editing, clip art charts, sound
timing, transitions, and video.
d. Set up and conduct a scheduled meeting in Skype

Be respectful towards other members of the class
Be on time.
Plan ahead and bring all necessary materials to class.
Participate in class discussions and activities
Use class time effectively
Turn in assignments on time
Classroom Operation
a. If you are absent, it is your responsibility to find out what you missed
b. Make-up work is not provided for unexcused absences. If you are absent on
the day an assignment, test or any other class work is given or if you are
absent on the day that an assignment is due and your absences is unexcused,
you will not be able to make up that work.
c. Previously announced projects or tests are to be made up upon your return to
school. If you have indicated to the instructor the date and time that you are
able to make up the work and you fail to do so, your opportunity to make up
the work is lost.
d. Make-up work for an excused absence is a minimum of three days.
Additional days for makeup work are at the discretion o the teacher. The
student is responsible for requesting makeup work for all absences in a timely
manner. Preciously announce projects and tests must be turned in or taken on
the date of the student’s return to school.
e. Late work will receive half credit up to five days. After five days it is a zero.

B+ = 87-89%
B = 84-86%

F = 59% & lower
