REPORTS TO: CSE Hub and Spoke Team Leader SALARY SCALE: JNC 4009 Spine 13 £23,213 DATE: June 2015 JOB PURPOSE To work in a co-located multi-agency team to meet the needs of vulnerable young people across the three Hub & Spoke areas To provide support in collaboration with the Hub & Spoke Team, contributing to the organisation and delivery of Involvement activities in a variety of settings. To plan, deliver and develop specialist provision to ensure the active involvement of children and young people in decision making processes in the work of the project. To ensure that the outcomes of the programme are clearly evidenced and are rooted in participant feedback ORGANISATION CHART Cross-Regional Hub & Spoke Management Group Hub and Spoke Team Leader Admin Assistant Spoke Worker 1 Spoke Worker 2 Participation Worker KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Empower young people to ensure their voice and influence is heard throughout the programme Encourage young people to engage in the involvement and decision making within the programme Support young people to participate in service delivery and design Work with young people on an individual and in group settings to inform the feedback and evaluation process of the programme Promote choice, well-being and the protection of all individuals Prepare for and participate in regular supervision meetings and seek additional supervision as appropriate Provide such other services as may be required from time to time in relation to the post July 2014 Page 1 of 3 Job Description - Worker – CSE Hub and Spoke Service PLANNING & PERFORMANCE To maintain records, collect statistical data (to enable effective monitoring to take place) and store information in accordance with the requirements of the post, policies and protocols and the Data Protection Act To contribute and undertake research monitoring as required to evidence good practice and enhanced service provision and delivery Respond to local and national requests for data and information, case studies etc PARTNERSHIP WORKING To develop services in partnership with a range of young people's agencies and others that are comprehensive and inclusive in their approach to tackling health issues with young people. Understanding of the issues and range of interventions to achieve positive outcomes for young people at risk of or abused from sexual exploitation Evidence of an understanding of the grooming process and impact on young people. Ability to feedback the results of the assessment process to the child/young person and their families/carers Ability to maintain the professional/client relationship and boundaries Ability to work flexibly and creatively as part of a team and on own initiative.
