1. Our Industry Partner Maruti Suzuki India Ltd., Gurgaon donated First Aid Kits to Govt. ITI
Solan for different workshops on 4.3.2015.
2. Screening Test for Selection of Apprentices was conducted by Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. on
4.3.2015 at Govt. ITI Solan. Mr. Sumit Singh, Jr. Executive, HR, MSIL conducted this test
with the help of Training & Placement Cell of ITI under the supervision of Sh. PC Gupta,
T&P Officer, Sh. Shammi Ahmed, Trainer Machinist and Sh. Harminder Singh, Trainer,
Fitter
3. Crafts Workshop for the trainees of “Sewing Technology” and “ Surface Ornamental
Techniques (Embroidery)” Trade students organized by our Industry partner Maruti Suzuki
India Ltd., Gurgaon on 5.3.2015 at Govt. ITI Solan
Our Industry Partner M/s Maruti Suzuki India Ltd., Gurgaon organized “Learn to
Earn
Handicraft Workshop” in Govt. ITI Solan on 5.3.2015 for the trainees of “Sewing
Technology” and “ Surface Ornamental Techniques (Embroidery)” Trade. Mr. Amit Kumar,
Territory Manager (HP),ITI Projects (PPDV Deptt.) was present from Maruti India Ltd. In the
“Learn to Earn Handicraft Workshop “ training to make “Fabric Flowers” and “Handmade
Paper Lamp & Lanterns” was given to 45 trainees of both the trades of Govt. ITI Solan
under the supervision of Instructor Mrs. Tenzin Dolma and Trainer Mrs. Nirmla and Vineeta
Kohli.
4. Campus Interview for Selection of Apprentices was conducted by Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.
on 5.3.2015 at Govt. ITI Solan. Mr. Tanveer Ahmed Khan, HR Manager and Mr. Satnam
Singh, Manager Production, MSIL conducted the campus interview with the help of
Training & Placement Cell of ITI under the supervision of Sh. PC Gupta, T&P Officer, Sh.
Shammi Ahmed, Trainer Machinist and Sh. Harminder Singh, Trainer, Fitter
5. Three Days “Soft Skill Training” to the Faculty Members of Govt. ITI Solan (wef 11.3.2014 to
13.3.2014) by Sh. Karnail Singh, Training Officer, Advance Training Institute for Electronics
& Process Instrumentation, Dehradun, Ministry of Labour & Employment (DGE&T), Govt. of
India. 48 staff members attended this training on 11.3.2015.
6. Campus Interview by M/s Saint Gobain Pvt. Ltd. On 9.3.2015
7. Magneti Marelli UM Electronic Systems Pvt Ltd, Plot No 402, Sector 8 IMT Manesar,
Gurgaon, Haryana will conducted the Campus Interview on 10th March 2015 at Govt. ITI
Solan for ITI Passed out in Fitter, Diesel Mechanic, Machinist, Electronics Mechanic and
Diploma holders in Electronics Engg. for about 50 vacancies.
8. Staff meeting held on 11.3.2015 at Govt. ITI Solan regarding Kaizen Scheme
Implementation and State Sports Meet (Boys)
9. M/s HPL India, Jabli , District Solan, H.P. conducted Campus Interview in Govt. ITI Solan on
13.3.2015 for the candidates (MALE & FEMALE) of Electrician, Electronics, PPO, COE –
Electrical Sector, COE-Electronics Sector, COE-Fabrication Sector, Instrument Mechanic,
Radio & TV, IT &ESM, Fitter trades for approximate 70 vacancies.
10. “Faculty Development Training Nayi Disha-II” sponsored and organized by our Industry
Partner Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. Gurgaon held on 16.3.2015 to 19.3.2015 at Hotel Paragon
for 50 Teaching Staff of Govt. ITI Solan which was conducted by Chief Trainer Sh. Shalabh
Saxena from Hero Mindmine Group, Delhi. The training covered the topics like
“Understanding Self through DEFC (Dominance, Extroversion, Stability & Control)
Framework, Trouble points at Work, Skill of Planning, Concept of Problem Solving, Benefit
of RCA (Root Cause Analysis) at Workplace, Time Management and other Management
Tools etc.
11. Four Faculty members of Govt. ITI Solan attended 3 days Faculty Development
Programme on “Entrepreneurship Development New Approaches & New Policies”
conducted by HIMCON (Himachal Consultancy Organization Ltd.) Shimla on behalf of
National Science & Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board (NSTEBD), Govt. of
India wef 18.3.2015.
12. 60 Students of Govt. ITI Solan visited the Exhibition which was organized by Khadi &
Village Industry, Board, Solan wef 19.3.15 to 21.3.15 under the supervision of their trade
Instructors Mrs. Tenzin Dolma and Sh. Vijay Kumar.
13. 40 students of Electrician & Surface Ornamental Techniques (Embroidery) trade of Govt.
ITI Solan visited the Exhibition which was organized by H.P. Khadi & Village Industries
Board, Solan wef 19.3.2015 to 21.3.2015 under the supervision of their Instructors Mrs.
Vineeta and Sh. Om Parkash. During the exhibition, the rural artisans/ entrepreneurs/
specially women artisans has shown their craftsmanship by displaying natural & Eco
friendly products.
14. Training on SUNDAYS to the 33 HIV Aids/ Sex Workers candidates sponsored by
Directorate of Women & Child Development Department H.P. under “Vishesh Mahila Uthan
Yojana” started . Smt. Vanita Kohli , Instructor (Embroidery) is conducting training on “
Basic Sewing Operator “ at Govt. ITI Solan.
15. Campus Interview on 25.3.2015 by Hero Motor Corps Ltd. Neemrana (Rajsthan) through
Synergy Consultant, Dehradun held at Govt. ITI Solan.
380 candidates of Fitter, Turner, Machinist, Mechanic Motor Vehicle, Automobile, Diesel
Mechanic, Welder, Instrument Mechanic , Electrician, Electronics & Painter trade appeared
in the written test.
Sh. Laxmi Narayan, Asstt. Manager (Production) and Sh. Gandarav-HR Manager from the
company and Mr. Anoop, HR Project Executive from Synery Consultant , Dehradun
conducted the campus interview with the help of Er. P.C. Gupta, Training & Placement
