This was a useful source because it talked about the influence of the War in America. It
gave the women's dress code during the time of the war, the materials that they could use
and the motto that was constantly advertised. It also had pictures of how the women
dressed during that time.

This source had information on the looks that were common for weddings and gave real
examples of real people who got married during that time. It showed and explained what
they wore and what the common look was when the woman's husband was from the
military. It also talked about the British Civilian Clothing Order known as the CC41.

This source basically talked about the CC41 and what it did. It talked about the purpose
of the CC41 and how they enforced on the country. There is also a picture of the symbol
that represented the CC41. It was called the utility mark and was on all of the utility
clothes.

This is an article on Christian Dior and what he did in his life. It talked about his greatest
accomplishment, which is launching his fashion line called the "New Look" during the
war. This brought back the feminine look for women.

This website talked about the fashions before, during and after the war. It mentioned the
attitudes towards fashion during a time of war and what many did under the strict circumstances.
It gave examples of common war accessories that women war just incase a siren went off.

This website showed many different types of clothing that women wore during the war. It gave
the name of the utility suit, why it was used and made and if it was still being used in today's
fashion. It is also helpful because it had pictures of each utility suit.

This website talked about how dresses change from WWI to WWII. It spoke about how the
dresses and hemlines got shorter because of the lack of materials from the war. It also gave
information on what clothes were being made out of during the war. A lot of things were being
recycled and used to make new clothes.

This website included America's order that was enforced which is the L-85 and the L-217. It
spoke about the fashion restrictions and what the orders did.

This website was useful because it spoke about the CC41 mark and what it would be put on. It
gave real life people as examples of what happened during the war. It also talked about what
