Debate Research Resources on the Web
National Forensics League: www.nflonline.org
PARADIGM Research: http://www.oneparadigm.com/
Go to Web Links for Libraries, Newspapers, and Philosophy as well as
General Links options.
IDEA international debate education association: http://www.idebate.org/
Click on Debatabase, The online debate topic database. There are 3 ways to
search the Debatabase. This is a great place to find a topic as well. Caution:
you may be tempted to “borrow” arguments from this site, as they
pretty much lay them out for you. You are allowed to use ideas from
the basic arguments, of course, but be warned, copying arguments
verbatim (word-for-word) is plagiarism, as is neglecting to cite your
source. Any acts of plagiarism will result in, at the very least, a failing
grade on this assignment. I will be checking.

Mount Si High School Library: http://www.mountsihighschool.com/library/
Your school library site will lead you to links for finding books and articles
(available within the Mount Si Library itself, as well as the King County system),
direct links to databases (ProQuest for example), and additional Internet sources.
 High school debate topics: http://www.lib.umich.edu/govdocs/hsdebate.html
I also have a small library of resource books from which to research, including
Black’s Law Dictionary
