MODALITIES FOR APPOINTMENT OF BLOCK PROGRAMME
ORGANIZER/PROGRAMME MANAGER(SDH)
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION





The candidate should be a graduate in Commerce/Science/Arts (with Economics
/Statistics/Sociology/Anthropology) with Post Graduate Diploma in Computer
Applications,MCA or equivalent from a Government Institution, recognized Institution.
S/he must have completed graduation before 2003 with a minimum of 55% marks and
should be below 35 years of age as on 1.06.08.
Preference will be given to candidates possessing Post Graduate Qualification in
Management/Statistics/Health Education]and those having experience in this field.
The candidate must be permanent resident of the district s/he is applying for.
Residential Certificate is to be produced while applying for the post.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES







Work in close consultation with Medical Officer in charge of the block to ensure smooth
and effective planning and implementation of NRHM and other health programmes.
Accounting and financial management including programme implementation at the
block, sector, sub-centre, village level and to assist PRIs & ANMs in proper maintenance
of accounts /cash books and submission of SoEs /UCs.
Create and maintain Block resource database for the health sector and assist in optimal
use of resources.
To maintain receipt and expenditure of the Committees.
Will be responsible for disseminating of information at the grassroots.
To co-ordinate with NGOs and other departments for inter-sectoral convergence.
Any other job as assigned by the Block Medical Officer, DPMU and CDMO from time
to time
.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS:




The engagement is purely contractual in nature and can be terminated at any point
without citing any reasons thereof.
Candidates once engaged cannot claim for re-engagement under any conditions as a
matter of right.
The contract is initially for a period of eleven months and further extension will be
provided on assessment of the performance of the period in service.
Computer test and personal interview will be done for selected candidates on merit basis.
ADDITIONAL BENEFITS FOR CANDIDATES WHO WORKED IN OHSDP, EC/SIP &
IPD PROJECTS



The staffs working in other ongoing or closed projects like OHSDP,EC-SIP,IPD
will be provided bonus mark of 5% of the total mark.
As far as relaxation of age is concerned, the same will be granted to the extent of number
of years and months completed as on 01.01.07 from the date of joining of the project. For
example, if a candidate was appointed on 01.08.2000 in a health project, as on 01.01.07
he would have completed 6yrs and 5 months. Hence age relaxation to the extent of 6yrs
and 5 months will be provided. By this formula, age relaxation applicable to different
candidates will vary.
The above relaxation will be available only to those candidates who have served the
projects till its completion.

In case of any doubt with regard to the case of the applicants who have worked in other
health related sectors, the matter should be referred to the Mission Directorate for further
clarification.
Note:
1. Two copies of passport size, coloured , attested photograph to be submitted alongwith
the application.
2. The following documents are to be enclosed alongwith the application:
a) Residential certificate issued by the Tehsildar/Sub-Collector etc.(in original)
b) Attested photo copies of all mark sheets/certificates in proof of the claim made by the
candidate relating to his educational qualification.
c) Experience certificate if any.
d) Work certificate, date of joining & date of retrenchment from the Project (in case of
candidates who are availing benefits of previous projects etc.)
REMUNERATION
Monthly remuneration shall be Rs 10,000/-(consolidated)
MODALITIES FOR APPOINTMENT OF BLOCK ACCOUNTANT CUM DATA
ASSISTANT.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION

The candidate should be a graduate in commerce.

Must have knowledge of computing with DCA/PGDCA/BCA OR MCA. Or equivalent.

Must have completed graduation and should be below 35 years as on 01/06/2008.

Preference will be given to candidates having one-year work experience in Govt. Sector.

The candidate must be permanent resident of the district s/he is applying for.

Nativity /Residential Certificate is to be produced while applying for the post.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION

The candidate should be a graduate with DCA/PGDCA/BCA/MCA.

Must have completed graduation and should be below 35 years as on 01/06/2008.

Preference will be given to candidates having one-year work experience in Govt. Sector.

The candidate must be permanent resident of the district s/he is applying for.


MODALITIES FOR APPOINTMENT OF STAFF NURSE
Must have passed in general nursing & midwifery from any of the 3 Govt. Nursing Schools of 3 Medical colleges/
School of Nursing MCl Talcher/ IGH, Rourkela & Govt. recognized Private Institutions and must have registered (valid
renwal certificate) in the Orissa Nursing Council.

The appointment will be made purely on merit basis. The candidates belonging from Sundargarh district
will be given preference. Interested candidates fulfilling the eligibility are requested to apply in the
prescribed format in A/4 size paper. Candidates applied earlier should apply afresh.
The completely filled in application forms along with other documents should reach the Office of CDMO
Sundargarh within 10 days of publication of this advertisement through Regd. Post / Speed post only
