Neutral/star point terminal earthed, connected to exposed metal work of generator chassis and CPC. y Run cables clear of all sources of mechanical damage and so they do not create a hazard themselves. Where cables pass th rough fire barriers the effectiveness of the barrier must be maintained. Precautions should be taken to prevent dangerous interference with switchgear etc. by unauthorised persons. y Critical earth loop impedance and circuit protective conductor impedance should be measured before system is put into use and results compared with limits set by design or normal good practice. A record of the results should be kept. y Equipment used in damp, rainy or other hostile environments should have suitable IP rating or additional covers, tents or enclosures used. y If providing to another user at the event, or receiving power, there has to be an exchange of information between all parties to ensure the risks are controlled. y Adequate clearance for Hydraulic Hoists/Lifting Platforms/Masts and other tall equipment y n Generator y n Distribution y n Safety Critical Measurements y n Weather y n Shared power supply on site with others ie Event Organisers or other Location Vehicles y Overhead Hazards ie supply cables etc y n n Hydraulic Hoist (used as lighting rig and for camera platforms ) y n n n n n n n n Pre-vetted Contractor/Trained Operator/Ground Conditions Satisfactory, obtain risk assessment from the Hoist Contractor. Lighting stands to be secured to prevent toppling.
