-Supply and installation:
Static excitation system with digital automatic voltage regulator for
synchronous machine and disassemble of old excitation system .

The digital type controller consists of control board, analogue/digital
interface board / Tow channel at least.
Monitoring
LCD Monitor for operation /control/interlock
signals/alarm/indication, location in unit control room.
Thyristor rectifier
Converts AC power from excitation transformer to DC field. 3
phase full bridge type.
Withdrawal (tray) type (thyristor elements fitted on removal tray)
If ONE thyristor tray( per phase) put out of service should not
effect on the system
Field breaker
On/off field current and interrupt fault current. DC type breaker is
used.(2Poles)

Initial excitation
Build up generator voltage to approx. 10KV.
