Michael Roux, Marketing and Sales Manager. Michael is responsible for marketing and sales strategy for
the Press books program, working with the individual team members to develop plans and execute initiatives
for individual books, series, lists, seasons, and the Press overall. He manages our domestic sales rep groups and
international distributors, and works with independent bookstores and national accounts like Barnes & Noble,
Ingram, Baker & Taylor, and Amazon.com.

Ami Reitmeier, Sales and Course Adoption Coordinator. Contact Ami with questions related to course
adoptions, desk and exam copy requests, book orders and general questions about book sales. Ami also
organizes and manages our inventory.

Margo Chaney, Exhibits Manager. Margo manages our book exhibits at approximately 30 academic
conferences and trade shows each year, and coordinates sending books to conferences via The Scholar’s Choice
or other exhibit services.

Denise Peeler, Direct Mail and Advertising Manager. Denise manages direct marketing (including
e-marketing) and paid advertising.

Kevin Cunningham, Catalog and Copywriting Coordinator. Kevin manages all the copy for the
Marketing Department and is responsible for preparing back cover and/or jacket copy, seasonal catalog
announcements, and direct mail copy.

Steve Fast, Publicity Manager. Steve manages the publicity efforts for your book including creating and
sending press releases, review copies, and advance galleys, and setting up interviews with print and electronic
media. He calls on major national media, and also meets with members of the press at Book Expo America,
the annual publishing trade show held in late spring. Steve provides support for book signings and other author
events and administers the Press blog, Facebook page and Twitter account.

Roberta Sparenberg, Sales and Marketing Assistant. Contact Roberta with questions pertaining to your
marketing questionnaire, the online form that each new author is asked to fill out in advance of publication.
We use the marketing questionnaire to plan our promotional strategy for your book.

Angela Burton, Rights and Permissions/Awards Manager. Angela represents your book to film/TV
agents and to publishers for foreign-language translation, plus reprint rights to your book if you do not have
an agent. She manages permissions requests and submits your book to appropriate award competitions.
