The Aluminum Show, a unique and energetic experience for the entire family, is a stimulating tour de force which combines movement, dance, visual theater and plenty of humor. After its 2003 debut in Jerusalem at the Israel Festival, the show gained worldwide recognition and for years has mesmerized hundreds of thousands of people across the globe. In the show, talented dancers and actors breathe life into aluminumtone industrial materials to tell the story of a young machine determined to reunite with its parents. During its travels through a futuristic world ruled by bizarre technology, it finds adventure, excitement and even a human friend, who does whatever it takes to get it back home in one piece. The Aluminum Show uses recovered materials from industrial factories that are re-used to build the set, dress the cast and interact with the audience. As Industrial materials are given new and surprising contexts, then combined with visual effects, lighting manipulations and enchanting music, all senses are on high alert. With sights and sounds that overcome any language barrier, this is visual entertainment at its best. In the summer of 2008, The Aluminum Show became the biggest hit in the 2008 Edinburgh Festival Fringe and received rave reviews: ■ "One of the most visually stunning performances" (BBC news); ■ “Like the metal itself, the energetic, impressively coordinated performers seem lightweight and malleable" (The Independent newspaper); ■ “This is one of the most weirdly innovative shows you could hope to see at the Fringe, any year” (The List magazine). The Aluminum Show first arrived to the United States, and put on more than 60 performances at the “Trump Plaza” in Atlantic City. In the second USA visit in 2010, the 50-show tour received excellent reviews: ■ "A fascinating, family-friendly, fun and interesting show...incredibly interactive from the front of the theatre all the way to the back... very visual... the energy is amazing... something I've never seen before" (Fox News TV); The Aluminum Show started its third run in the USA in January 2011, and has appeared in over 40 venues across 29 states. Since the first performance in Lubbock, Texas, it was a great success: ■ "One of the most entertaining, fun, let-yourself-go-and-join-in and, of course, imaginative experiences one will ever have at the theater… Children were laughing almost immediately… it wasn't long before The Aluminum Show amazed one and all with fanciful Dollbeat Productions Ltd ■ P.O.B 2463 Kiryat Ono 55122 Israel ■ Tel (+972) 3-736-0297 ■ info@aluminum-show.com www.aluminum-show.com and unexpected visuals...
