Utopia (n.) – ideal or perfect place
In Animal Farm Old Major relates a dream that he had of a world
in which animals live without the tyranny of men: they are free,
happy, well fed, and treated with dignity. He teaches the animals a
song called “Beasts of England,” which paints a dramatic picture of
the utopian, or ideal, animal community of Major's dream.
CONSIDER WHAT YOUR UTOPIAN SOCIETY
WOULD BE LIKE.
1. Make a collage-poster that displays the different aspects of
your Utopian society. (People, Food, Leisure, Laws,
Weather, Land, Etc.) Make sure the name of your Utopia,
its motto, animal & its flag are all on your poster.
2. In an essay (1-2 pages), explain what your collage
represents. The requirements are attached. Check for
spelling and grammar mistakes before handing in the
NEAT, final copy.
