Arkansas State University
Courses taught: video production, advanced video production, audio production, film studies, corporate
video, media programming, news writing, mass communication. Supervise football and basketball sports
production and news programming for ASU-TV. Redesigned video production sequence and film course.
Co-authored course proposals for Narrative Motion Picture emphasis. Leadership position in studio set
design and construction. Lead role in demolition/construction of on-line programs production studio to
support on-line masters degree programs.
Mississippi State University
Taught two courses per semester in Dept. of Communication: lecture, field, Studio, and postproduction for
beginning and advanced television production. Served as broadcast
coordinator, designing curriculum and new courses. Created student programming opportunities and
supervised students as cable channel manager. Advised and supervised internships and special projects.
Taught graduate level Video Art course for Art Department. Designed and taught distant learning television
course for state high school network.
Washburn University
In this one-year temporary appointment, taught courses in television production, broadcast management,
intro. to mass comm., international communication, writing for broadcast, and broadcast history. (seven
preps in two semesters)
University of Kansas
As a graduate teaching assistant, taught two courses per semester for six semesters, including broadcast
performance, beginning and advanced television production, and assisted with film studies courses.
Responsible for technical supervision of field equipment and two studios. After graduation, taught
performance and production classes as adjunct and installed a new studio.
