Implemented WSTx-a middleware for providing transaction support in the current
Web Services framework and conceptualized at IBM T.J. Watson Research Center.
Conducted design study to provide DPCL (Dynamic Probe Class Library) support
for MPICH on Linux and implemented some feasibility tests for its verification.
Proposed changes in MPICH and DPCL, some of which have now been incorporated
in the actual implementations.
Implemented a simple reliable transport protocol (SRTP) which provides the
reliability and robustness of TCP on top of UDP datagram service
Implemented few compiler optimizer components such as basic block, dominator
and loop detectors and a peephole optimizer.
Developed a user level non-preemptive thread library (POSIX compliant).
Implemented JPEG algorithm for image compression.
Simulated various process/thread scheduling policies (MLFS, SJF and the like).
