1.
The England Boxing Junior Championships and the England Boxing Junior Cadet Championship shall be governed by the entry conditions set out
below.

Competing Boxers may be British or Non-British and must be registered with England Boxing. Non-British Boxers must have held an BCR1 for 1 year
from the date of their first medical shown in the BCR1. Boxers must represent the Club of which they were a member preceding the Championships.
Boxers must declare all details of competitive bouts in other combat sports. These numbers must be entered in the BCR1.
Boxers must have competed in at least 2 England Boxing Bouts on entry.
All bouts to be contested over 3 x 2minute rounds.
Entry to the England Boxing Junior Championship is open to boxers born in 1999 or 2000. Entry to the England Boxing Junior Cadet Championship is
open to boxers born in 2000 ONLY. Boxers cannot enter both the Junior Championships and the Junior Cadet Championships in the same year.
Acceptance of entry does not necessarily imply that the entrant is eligible or that he will be allowed to compete. Those in doubt as to their eligibility
should refer their case to the Hon. Secretary of their Association, or to the England Boxing office.

A Boxer may only enter through one Association and compete at one weight. Should the Boxer be too light or too heavy for the weight category
that they declared on the entry form, they may transfer to his correct weight at the initial General Weigh In. He cannot transfer to a different weight
category after the General Weigh In of the Championships has taken place.
4.
The entry form must be signed by the Boxer, giving their correct name and date of birth. The Hon. Secretary of the Boxer’s Club must also sign the
entry form, to verify that the Boxer’s details are correct. The Parent or Guardian, who will be responsible for the correctness of the information given,
must have signed the Boxers BCR1. The BCR1 must contain the Boxers current address and the Boxers photo must be a current likeness.
5.
By allowing a Boxer to enter this Championship, the Boxer’s Parent or Guardian will have been deemed to have given consent to allow any official video
recording or photographing of the event, including the boxing and the presentation ceremony, to take place. Also to allow the Boxer’s name,
photographs and video footage to be used in all media for publicity purposes if required. Video recording or photography in the weigh in area, changing
rooms or warm up areas is strictly forbidden.

There will be a weight allowance from the pre-quarter round onwards as follows.
Boxers up to 50kg – 300g. Boxers up over 50kg – 63kg – 500g. Boxers over 63kg – 700g.
7.
During the 2-hour Weigh in period, Boxers may have as many check weighs as is required but they may only lose a maximum in weight as follows.
Boxers up to 50kg – 300g. Boxers up over 50kg – 63kg – 500g. Boxers over 63kg – 700g
Boxers must wear boxing shorts or underpants when weighing in.
8.
Gloves - all boxers must wear 10oz current AIBA approved stamped gloves, supplied by the organisers.

A Boxer may have a maximum of 3 Coaches in his corner. Training shoes or boxing boots, tracksuits or suitable sportswear must be worn by all
Coaches. Shorts must not be worn. Civilian clothing must not be worn. Mobile phones or other electrical devices are not permitted at ringside.
10.
Medical Record Cards (BCR1) must be produced at the time of time of the weigh in at all stages of the Championships.
11.
For the Pre Quarter Final and Quarter Final tournaments, appointed Officials will be paid expenses by their own Association. Official’s expenses for
Semi Final and Final shall be paid by England Boxing.
12.
All Boxers must wear a gum shield, cup protector, current AIBA approved bandages on the hands and a current AIBA approved stamped Head Guard,
when competing. Red or similar coloured gum shields may not be worn.
13.
Where both Boxers in the eliminating round of a weight class are disqualified, the Association or Associations jointly concerned will NOT be permitted to
nominate a representative to the next stage.
14.
All participants i.e. Boxers and Coaches are reminded that these Championships are subject to the AIBA Anti –Doping Rules.
15.
The 10 Points Must scoring system will be in use at all times. The scoring machine, will be used at all rounds of the Championships, using 5 Judges.
16.
If there is no opponent for a Boxer to compete in the National Final, they will only be awarded the National Title if they have boxed at an earlier stage.
17.
The waistband on a Boxer’s shorts must be a different colour than their vest so as to determine the waistline. No boxer shall wear a Red vest in the
Blue corner or a Blue vest in the Red corner.
18.
All boxers must wear a Red Head Guard and Gloves in the Red corner and a Blue Head Guard and Gloves in the Blue corner.
19.
All Boxers must be clean-shaven before presenting themselves to the tournament Medical Officer. A female boxer’s hair must be contained under the
head guard.
20.
After competing there must have been at least 12 hours elapsed before a Boxer can compete again.
21.
The entry fee of £5.00 must accompany each application.
22.
Any possible changes made to AIBA Competition or Technical Rules, as made by AIBA, after this Entry Form has been issued to Associations, then the
changed rule will override any previous rule as stated on this Entry Form.
