WBC JOSÉ SULAIMÁN BOXERS FUND DONATION SUBMISSION
In the fall of 2012, senior officials at the WBC took decisive action to help boxing’s former
champions who have fallen on hard times. The WBC José Sulaimán Boxers Fund was
established at Nevada Community Foundation in Las Vegas, Nevada, home of many
memorable championship contests, and will support boxing champions throughout the world
who have become destitute and are living in poor health. These noble champions have given
much to the sport of boxing and it is the hope of the WBC that this fund, which will be invested
prudently and managed effectively, will continue to support boxing’s noble heroes in perpetuity.
