To exchange your paper ID card for a REAL UMSL ID, you need to go to UMSL to do it. There is a link for a map on the UMSL INFO page of both my web page AND the Modern Language page.

You may take your paper ID for UMSl up to UMSL, to obtain a “real” UMSL ID (= a
“permanent ID”.). You MUST BRING A PHOTO ID and the paper UMSL ID from being an Advanced Credit student when you go for your permanent ID.
A permanent ID indicating your name and student number is made. Your student
ID allows you to check books out of the libraries, charge items at the University
Bookstore, obtain a Ride-Free card for the Metro Link each term (ask about how to get this in the Admissions office), use the Instructional Computing Labs, participate in the student activities, and receive student discounts at selected movie theaters around town.
You can also use UMSL online services. For example, you now have an UMSL email account! You can find out more about what MY GATEWAY is by going to the UMSL web page concerning “My Gateway”. https://mygateway.umsl.edu/webapps/login Click on the “Gateway ID Search” for more information on how to find out what your log-in procedure is. You can also try “student help”. I believe that your MY GATEWAY login gets you into your UMSL email.
