Television is indispensible to modern people in daily lives. 2. Considerable TV programs are created to satisfy the audience’s needs. B. Thesis statement 1. TV programs can be divided into two classifications which are dramas and variety shows. 2. The criterion is that people in the programs whether act other characteristic or not. II. BODY A. Drama 1. People in dramas should become others and experience stories which didn’t happen to them. 2. Supporting Ideas a. Purpose: To make the audience experience the accidents which are unusual or even impossible for them. b. People can be satisfied by drama because they can see the whole story as if they were on the spot. c. Different forms of TV dramas(Western series and Asian soap dramas) 3. Dramas satisfy the audience’s imaginations so that they are always appealing to people. B. Variety show 1. People in variety shows didn’t need to become others but play games or do activities to make audience happy. 2. Supporting Ideas a. Purpose: To make people laugh or gain knowledge. b. Lots of forms can be applied in variety shows. (Talk shows, Games, Music, Questions) 3. People will get pleasure because of seeing others behave stupidly or listening to jokes in variety shows. C. Although people in reality shows didn’t need to act others but the accidents and reactions are set in advance. b. Reality shows are more popular in western countries. 3. Seeing reality shows, you can see a whole story in a more convincing way. III. CONCLUSION A. With the development of TV programs, the border of these two kinds became vague. However, the elements of them still exist in the new forms of TV programs. B. The television stations make the programs various so they can meet our needs at once. IV.
