(i) Where student is not liable for processing fee:
(1) When paying at any of the 122 E.Sun Bank branches in Taiwan (9:00 ~ 15:30, Mon ~ Fri) or the E.Sun
Bank on Tachung Hall 1F.
(2) When paying by credit card telephone banking: Please have the following information ready: Invoice No.,
Credit Card Holder's ID Number and Credit Card Number.

"National Chiao Tung University" then enter the "Student ID" and "Personal ID's last 5 digits" to login.
Select "Credit Card Payment".
(ii) Where the student is liable for processing fee:
(1) Pay by bank wire transfer (processing fee will vary between $30 ~ $100 depending on the bank)
(2) Pay at any 7-11, FamilyMart, OK or Hi-Life convenience stores in Taiwan ($6 processing fee)
(3) Pay at any post office in Taiwan ($15 processing fee)
(4) Pay by fund transfer at any ATM. The instructions are as follow:
i.
Insert bank card then select "Other Service", "Bill Payment" and "Transfer to E.Sun Account" (no fee)
or "Transfer to Another Bank's Account" ($17 processing fee).
ii. Please enter the bank ode "808", the 14-digit invoice no. (in top right corner of the payment form) and
the amount payable.
iii. Check the details then press "Confirm" to complete the transaction.
Student Loan Application: (Payment will be deferred if applying for student loan)
(i) Student loans can be used to cover the tuition fees (basic amount), credit (for enrolled students this is based on
initial course selection. New MA. students are allocated 12 credits and new Ph.D. students are allocated 6
credits; for full-time students it is $1590 per credit; for in-service students it is $5000 per credit), $125 for
insurance, $3000 for books, accommodation (for student living on campus, this is the actual amount; if living
off-campus, this is $11130), and $500 internship fee (1st year undergraduate). Please use the "Amount payable
by student loan" indicated on the payment slip to apply for a loan from the bank. *"Amount payable by student
loan" is the maximum amount of the loan.
(ii) Processing Date: Once the loan is approved, the following information must be submitted to the Life Guidance
Division between 2010/2/22 ~ 2/26 for the process to be considered complete. The application will not be
accepted if the loan procedure or information is incomplete or late.
(1) This payment slip (payment deferred)
(2) The school copy of the approved loan application
(3) Student loan application (Can be printed from the Life Guidance Division's student loan webpage at
http://loan.nctu.edu.tw/83/). The guarantor information and loan amount on the application must match the
details on the payment notification from Taiwan Bank).
(4) Copy of the household registry from the last three months (for initial application or those whose details
have changed)
(iii) For students who have applied for waivers (tuition fees), public scholarship, receive the civil service dependents'
education subsidy or other related government assistance, they must deduct the waived/subsidized amount from
the amount payable by student loan. They may not apply to borrow more than the final amount.
Students who complete the procedure for temporary leave, withdrawal or graduation before commencement date do
not have to make payment.
