Buying a ride into the big blue sky to see unusual sites, beats a bumpy ride around them. ¶ Skill Check: Hair Cut Bobby hates to get a haircut. It always ends up too short. Bobby bobs around in the chair. The barber has a tough job with this unruly boy. ¶ Bruce has been a barber for a number of years. Usually, Bruce has a sunny nature. Anybody would be glum when Bobby is such a cut up. ¶ Somebody suggested Bruce should use a bumper seat with a security belt. Some of the best laces are found in mall booths. Buying them in such a booth may be cheaper. Beautiful or unusual laces can be bought as a custom order. Be sure to bring your shoes when buying new laces for them. You would be sure of the best match if you brought your shoes along with you. Skill Check: Food There are many reasons to eat. We may be bored or baffled. We could be hungry and crabby. It is much better to eat for energy than habit. Not all foods produce the energy we pursue. The labels offer us clues to the benefits of using the product. We ought to choose and use the best we can buy. Before long, you and I can be thought of as careful consumers. By buying the best foods for our bodies, there will be energy to burn. Practice these skills at home with any word processor.
