Sonic Fundraiser Guidelines for Cheerleaders Cheerleaders not following the guidelines below will be asked to leave fundraiser… AND a) If fundraiser is benefiting Cheer or Comp accounts, cheerleader will receive no credit for shift(s) worked, and b) misbehavior will result in demerits/punishment by cheerleader coach. 1. Shifts: When you sign your name to sign-up sheets, you are committed. A shift change with out coach approval is not allowed. No shows & excessive tardiness will be reported to coaches for demerits/punishment. NOTE from Coach: No shows = 2 demerits, Tardiness (15+ minutes or leaving early) = 1 demerit. 2. Dress: Always wear cheer uniform. Or black Capri’s/pants with a Haltom shirt. No blue jeans or short-shorts allowed. No open toed shoes – tennis shoes only. 3. Breaks: Will be assigned by parents ONLY and given on a “best effort” basis. Breaks are 10-15 minutes and only 1-2 cheerleaders at a time. When on break, cheerleaders MUST be on the patio, never inside or your break is considered over. 4. No gum, sunglasses or baseball hats. 5. Name tags must be on at all times and turned in before you leave. 6. No cell phones! Cell phones will be taken up until the end of shift if used while working. Please use only during breaks. 7. No horse-play at anytime; when inside no loud talking. 8. Pick up all trash; sweep patio and car hop areas; return red trays. 9. No parking under the stalls at anytime. 10. Smile/Hospitality tray every 8 minutes (time may vary depending on Sonic). Must be taken to every car window and patio table. 11. Must hand every customer their receipt with change. 12. Tips on credit cards are based on each Sonic. 13. No one under 16 years of age. (See Booster Club for special rules.) 14. When fundraiser is over: a) Remove all HHS signs & paperclips and/or tape from menu boards, and b) Remove Spirit Banner, return all to booster club. 15. HAVE FUN and SMILE, SMILE, SMILE!!! **NOTE: Most of the guidelines outlined above will follow through to all cheer fundraisers. Coaches will advise during practices of additions, if any.
