After watching the movie, answer each of the following questions as
completely as possible. All answers must be typed (or 10% point deduction will occur)
and must be in your own words. If you do external research, please cite any and all
references used. Due:
1. What caused the brain damage to the "frozen" people in the film?
2. Why do you think Lucy could keep walking when the pattern on the floor
continued?

• Write a brief response to the film. Did you like it? Why or why not?
• Discuss whether or not you felt the L-Dopa should have been discontinued. Had
you been one of the patients, would you want to continue using L-Dopa? Would you
want a family member/friend consent to continuation of L-Dopa?
• Imagine you entered in to a comatose state in 2000 and were “reawakened” in
2007. How would you feel? What historic events would you have missed?
