Projects
• Implemented a Newton-Raphson solver in a fluid analysis tool suit, including
backtracking and a Genetic Algorithm hybrid option. (Fortran, Perl).
• Integrated a cost model, air breathing engine codes, and case design codes into
the Integrated Propulsion Analysis Tool. (AML, C, Fortran).
•Transferred the companies internal accounting database from Excel to MySQL.
Designed access queries, and created a user interface. (ModelCenter, Vbscript,
MySQL).
• Constructed a compiler featuring a lexical analyzer, LALR parser grammar
rules, and a type checker (LISP, YACC, Tiger).
• Implemented an operating system including thread management,
multiprogramming, virtual memory, file systems, and networking capabilities
(nachos, UNIX, Java).
• Created an interactive deep-water graphics simulation using real time animation
techniques (C++, OpenGL).
• Created a simulated online banking database, utilizing the ER model, producing
a web interface, and implementing user defined types (PostgreSQL, php, C).
• Designed a MIDI controller complete with serial interface and dual polyphony
(Xilinx FPGA, Verilog).
• Fabricated MOS transistors and poly-Si surface microstructures in laboratory.
• Developed a checkers program featuring 6-ply computer searches and two
player networking capabilities (Java).
• Programmed a MIPS disassembler and simulator (MIPS assembly, UNIX, C).
