The Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) has opened registration for spring and summer classes in its Emergency Management Diploma program. This comprehensive distance-delivered program is designed to provide students with a fundamental understanding of emergency management functions in a number of industries, including the oil and gas, petrochemical, energy transmission, forestry, transportation, agriculture, and public sectors. Graduates will have the necessary skills to address key areas of emergency management – mitigation, planning, response, and recovery. Courses are also available on an individual basis for those currently employed in the field and wishing to upgrade their skills. Study Anytime, Anywhere NAIT’s Emergency Management Diploma Program is comprised of 30 courses and two practicums.
