Spring 2010 BIOE 4420:001 Bioengineering Senior Design Project II 3 hours, 230 – 345 pm Thursday, PL 2450 Catalog Data: [3 hours] This course integrates the engineering and life science backgrounds of senior bioengineering students through the presentation of design principles for medical devices, biological processes, and biological systems. Prerequisite: Senior Standing; BIOE 4100, BIOE 4200, BIOE 4300; MIME 2600 Textbook: Design of Biomedical Devices & Systems, use as a reference for your activities Topics: Student groups will propose and undertake the comprehensive design of a medical device, medical product, or medical software application to include project proposal, progress reports, a business plan, a final technical report, and a final presentation.
