APPROACH TO GOD AND THE CHURCH’S PRAISE
CALL TO WORSHIP
HYMN OF PRAISE –
No.29 – All hail the power of Jesus’ name
PRAYER OF ADORATION & THANKSGIVING
RESPONSIVE READING –
God, our Father, we rejoice in your love made known to us in Jesus
Christ. He died for us while we were yet sinners and with him we
are raised to eternal life through the power and the love of your Holy
Spirit.
We know, through the teaching of Jesus, that you value us, that even
the hairs on our heads are numbered and that you know us by name.
Through him also, we know that we are forgiven, set free from our
sins and given a new start in life.
Above all, we know that your love can never be exhausted, that
nothing can stand in its way; that nothing can keep it from us.
Keep me praising till the break of day!
No. 690
Leader: Sing a new song to the Lord for he has worked wonders.
People: his right hand and his holy arm have brought salvation
Leader: The Lord has made known his salvation;
has shown his justice to the nations.
People: He has remembered his truth and love for the house of Israel.
Leader: All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.
People: Shout to the Lord all the earth, ring out your joy.
Leader: Sing psalms to the Lord with the harp, with the sound of music.
People: With trumpets and the sound of the horn acclaim the King, the
Lord.
Leader: Let the sea, and all within it, thunder; the world, and all its
peoples.
People: Let the rivers clap their hands and the hills ring out their joy
Leader: at the presence of the Lord; for he comes, He comes to rule the
earth.
ALL:
You are holy, holy, are You Lord God Almighty
Worthy is the Lamb, worthy is the Lamb, Amen.
He will rule the world with justice and the peoples with
fairness.
