Designer/Level Designer – Developing interactive game-based technologies for Pre-K through 3rd
grade students to inspire them to become future innovators by educating them in STEM skills. The
goal is to create games that improve over time by analyzing play across a large population of
anonymous users. The first game in a series of mini-games, RumbleBlocks, was nominated for a 2012
DATA Award.
Instructor – Taught students a level design and game design course at Carnegie Mellon University’s
Entertainment Technology Center. Responsibilities included personalized lectures, grading of
assignments, critique and feedback, along with trouble-shooting and Q&A.

Artist - Working on Smart Technologies SMART Table for Intermediate Unit I to develop educational
software for 3 to 5 year olds with disabilities. Developed educational games and an improved, user
friendly UI.
Feu D’artifice

Artist - Feu D’artifice (fireworks) - Premiered at the Andy Warhol Museum’s Film and Video Theater
as a curtain opener for Depero Futuristi. Constructed a ‘ballet of lights’ using Giacomo Balla’s
and Igor Stravinsky’s Feu D’artifice. Project was directed by Franco Sciannameo, Director of BXA
Intercollege Degree Programs, and produced by Don Marinelli of Carnegie Mellon University.
Project was nominated for a 2011 DATA Award. Will premiere at The Guggenheim Museum in
New York and Bilbao in 2014.

Acting as Mod Co-Lead. Responsible for organizing and streamlining all communication and, as well
as the Mod’s Game Design. R&D on possible engine platforms, such as Crytek’s Sandbox 2 and 3.
Teaching Assistant - Taught students how to build multiple level types utilizing Epic’s Unreal Editor 3
and Valve’s Hammer Editor. Assisted in lectures, trouble-shooting, critique and feedback, as well as
general Q&A.
Acted as Assistant Producer and Environment Lead respectively. Collaborated with other students
and teacher to simulate a real world pipeline utilizing the SCRUM workflow using the Unreal 3
Engine creating a “sizzle video”. Environment was blocked out in 3DS Max and then imported into
Unreal for size and scale reference.
Acted as one of four Producers. Worked on a team of 20+ students to create content for virtual
simulations that emphasized and tested vertigo in patients. Content was created for University of
Pittsburgh Medical Center’s Patrick J. Sparto, PhD, PT. Content was made for Unreal 2004’s
CaveUT.
