between business and the community. In the last two years, ELBA has helped place over 1500 people

About the Skills to Succeed Academy
The Skills to Succeed Academy is a free, highly interactive, on-line training programme, designed
specifically to meet the needs of 15-24 year old jobseekers. Its aim is to help young people
understand career choices, find a job and sustain employment by equipping them with key
employability skills.
The training consists of 3 courses and contains 35 online modules in total as well as offline activity
packs and a mobile phone app. ELBA has partnered with Accenture on the development of the Skills
to Succeed Academy since 2011 when we helped to convene focus groups of experts from the skills
& employment sector as well as young people from the target audience to help inform the training
content. Subsequently we managed a pilot group in east London in 2012. ELBA now has two staff
members seconded full time to the Accenture Corporate Citizenship Team with responsibility for
helping to embed the training within educational establishments, job brokerages and volunteer
