Rolling Ball Lab #1 What you need: A group of 3 A tube A ruler A marble The Procedure: 1. Measure 10 cm. Up the tube and make a mark, repeat for 20 cm., 30 cm., 40 cm., and 50cm. 2. Place the tube against the baseboard of the wall. (I will be doing a demonstration in class) 3. Place the marble at the 10 cm. Mark, then let the marble go from that mark. Measure the distance the marble traveled. Repeat three times and then do the same for the 20, 30, 40, and 50 cm.
