Follies – STEM Challenge
1. Research with a partner, what a folly is.
2. In groups of 4/ 5 design a folly of your own.
You have some requirements:

You are only allowed to use 3 newspapers/ group.
You are only allowed one roll of masking tape/ group.
You may have 1 pencil, a pair of scissors and a 30cm ruler.
Each group will have 1 marble.
You can use a timer to test your structure.
The Challenge:
Folly must be a minimum of 30cm high.
It must look like a folly.
The folly will be expected to balance a marble on top, for a minimum of 2minutes.
GOOD LUCK!
A prize will be rewarded for the tallest structure that can balance the marble for the longest
time.
