Cleaned up a $40 Million loan portfolio, re-underwriting or selling 24+ commercial loans over a 30-month
period for a former S&L recovering from series of bad loans (Murdock Florida Bank)

Created and established two successful de novo banks for operations with RFP’s from all vendors, including
hosts, facilities and equipment, meeting all requirements to open an OCC Chartered institution

Expeditiously completed two major host conversions in which processors were closing shop, balancing
general ledger on first run (Tarpon)

Played key role in opening of Calusa Bank, selecting vendors to purchase host system and performing due
diligence

Completed the major transition of deposit opening system from static to dynamic, paper to full electronic
operation, training people in each branch for use

Oversaw entire bank construction project of a 5,800 sq. ft. main office building after 15 months of major
challenges and obstacles, adhering to stringent government regulations regarding natural disasters, etc.
overseeing installation of all fixtures including the vault and elevator, and the entire IT infrastructure

Completed two major Microsoft Windows Server upgrades in real time with no downtime for bank or

Successfully upgraded Microsoft Exchange three times from v5.5 to 2000, to v2003, to v2007, with no
email disruption in service over many days of transition. Required upgrade from 32-bit to 64-bit and a
complete reinstall, plus two additional days for installation (Calusa)

Renegotiated host banking software contract to save bank over 13% in annual cost, encompassing the main
database for all customer, depository, loan, and general ledger data (Calusa)

Achieved savings of more than $90k per month per location ($3k/mo. for more than 30 banks) by
proposing using a piece of data line to connect to CISCO unity VOIP phone system to the bank’s MPLS
(dedicated data) mainframe-linking circuit, giving rise to a new product and telephone structure (Calusa)

Created a successful network structure and server farm copied by host company and resold as a standard
information services package used by at least five banks
