COURSES WITH AN INTEGRAL RESIDENTIAL SCHOOL
AND ENHANCED LEARNING CREDITS (ELC)
Enhanced Learning Credits cannot be used to pay for the integral Residential School element of the course fees
of the Open University courses listed below. Students must apply for funding, via their Education Managers,
from the “Single Service Sponsorship Schemes” to pay for the part of the fee indicated below. Please ensure
that the fees indicated below are removed from relevant course fees prior to applying to ELCAS for funding.
As completion of integral residential schools is now compulsory for successful completion of a course, for
students not able to attend the face to face school an Alternative Learning Experience (ALE) is available which
is normally undertaken online so no residential school costs relating to accommodation, food, etc, are incurred.
