Leilani C. Latimer, Director, Sustainability Initiatives, Sabre Holdings
Leilani C. Latimer leads Global Sustainability Initiatives for Sabre Holdings, the world’s leading provider
of high-performance technology solutions for the travel industry. She develops and directs the
company’s sustainability strategy and initiatives in collaboration with business leaders across the
corporation; Sabre Travel Network, Sabre Airline Solutions, Sabre Hospitality Solutions and Travelocity.
Ms. Latimer is a methods, marketing and communications professional with proven expertise in
corporate sustainability, global strategy, marketing and business transformation. Previously Ms. Latimer
led worldwide marketing strategy and planning for Sabre Travel Network and held positions in Customer
& Product Marketing in North America. She also managed Marketing and Business Development for
Southern Europe, where she began her career with Sabre.
Ms. Latimer is a Board Member of the Global Sustainable Tourism Council, a member of the Icarus
Global Advisory Board at the Global Business Travel Association and a graduate in Sustainable
Management of the Presidio Graduate School in San Francisco where she works and resides. She is also
on the Advisory Board of NoHold Inc. and an active member of the Silicon Valley Italian Executive
Council. She is fluent in Italian, and holds both US and EEC citizenship.
Donna Headley, Chevron Global Travel Manager
Donna Headley is the Chevron Global Travel Manager based in the San Francisco Bay Area. She leads a
team of eight employees who are tasked with delivering strategic travel programs in over fifty five
countries within Chevron’s three key regions – the Americas; Eurasia/ Middle East-Africa-Pakistan, and
Asia Pacific. Her team is responsible for the contract and supplier management impacting Chevron’s
$287M annual spend. As a global leader, she focuses on the importance of traveler compliance not
solely for cost savings generation but also to adhere and align with Chevron’s priority on
employee/traveler safety. With Chevron’s increased supply chain management approach to business
travel, Donna pursued further education and recently attained a Certificate in Supply Chain
Management from Arizona State University. She started her career with Chevron thirty three years ago
and has worked in various capacities in HR, Employment, Business Services and with Global Travel for
the last seventeen years. Donna is a member of the Bay Area Business Travel Association Chapter, GBTA
member and serves on the GBTA CSR Committee.
Marie Downey Director, Global Accounts, United Airlines
Marie Downey is Director, Global Accounts for the new United Airlines based in the San
Francisco Bay Area. Marie is responsible for a team of seven sales professionals who support
some of United’s largest corporate customers. Her team’s account portfolio exceeds $550
million in annual revenue for United Airlines.
An active member of the Global Business Travel Association for over 10 years, Marie manages
the key GBTA liaison role for United Airlines. In 2011 her recommendation led to the entire
United Airlines North America sales team earning their Corporate Travel Executive (CTE)
training designation. Marie also serves on the GBTA Foundation Industry Advisory Council and
the GBTA CSR Committee.
Marie is a native Oregonian who started her career with Continental Airlines 25 years ago as a
reservations agent in Los Angeles, CA. Prior to joining the Global Accounts team she held
various positions at Continental with increasing responsibility ranging from operations to sales.
Lynne Brown Director of Community Outreach
Lynne Brown has over ten years in the travel industry, first as a Corporate Business Services and Travel
Manager and more recently as an independent consultant. As a Travel Manager she developed a
successful mandated travel program based on rewarding employees for doing the "right thing". Lynne
also has decades of experience in the non-profit world from both the corporate and agency viewpoints.
The combination of this background and skills made her an ideal choice to develop SVBTA's new
Community Outreach program. As the Community Outreach Committee completes its first year, SVBTA
members have had opportunities to participate in a variety of non-profit activities ranging from events
such as the Applied Materials Turkey Trot to collecting backpacks, and providing enrichment activities
for disadvantaged students. SVBTA takes Corporate Social Responsibility seriously, recognizing as an
organization, it is uniquely positioned to play a chapter leadership role.
