Use MS Word to create an MS Word document of the text of the slides of
a PowerPoint presentation. At the beginning of the document insert a
list of the document’s paragraph names. The paragraph names briefly
describe the paragraphs’ contents. Apply transitions to the slides.
The MS Word document must contain at least 8 paragraphs. Each
paragraph must contain at least four sentences. Copy each Word
paragraph to a new PowerPoint slide. Add at least one picture to a
least half of the slides. Write the homework name (h8-tia7) as the
document’s and the slides’ header. Write your name as the document’s
and the slides’ footer. Choose one of the following topics as the
PowerPoint presentation topic:
1. Network Architectures
Discuss the 4 ways of classifying network architectures – distance
between nodes, administration, data exchange protocols, data
transport communications media.
2. Network hardware and software
Discuss network adapters, modems, network navigation devices –
routers and switches, P2P network software, client/server software.
3. Connecting to the Internet
Discuss kinds of Internet connections – broadband, cable, DSL,
wireless, mobile broadband, and dial-up and their advantages and
disadvantages.
4. Installing and configuring Home Networks
Discuss planning the home network, connecting devices to the
network, wired and wireless connections, connection devices –
network adapters, routers, switches, connected devices – storage
devices, home network servers, entertainment devices, home security
devices, and home network software configuration.
5. Troubleshooting Wireless Network Problems
Discuss installation problems, slow data transfer problems, and
solutions to these and other problems.
6. Securing Wireless Networks
Discuss wireless network vulnerability and solutions to network
vulnerability

Add data to the workbook that your created for h7-tia6. Add at least
three clients, add at least four telephone numbers, add at least
twelve telephone calls, taking care that every telephone numbers calls
every other telephone number at least once. Compute each customer’s
telephone charges.
Create an Access database. Import the Clients, Telephones, and Calls
worksheets from Excel to Access. Write queries to compute each
customer’s telephone charges/
