Class 2G’s Flat Stanley will be making his way to a Yr 2 class in America next week and then on to a Yr 2 class in Germany in Term 4 along with the children’s questions, journals and pictures. This has involved reading, creative writing, HSIE, maths, art and discussions. The children are really enjoying the project with Mrs. Goodwin and Mrs Keefe. LOST PROPERTY This week is your last chance to go through the lost property for any items that may belong to you before it is donated to the uniform shop or thrown out. Would you like to know more about why they act the way they do? Are you interested in learning more about how to help your child with their emotions? Are you looking for some ideas on how to better manage your child’s behaviour? The Circle of Security course can help! It is an 8 week course for parents with young children that helps with parenting, understanding the emotions behind behaviours and strategies to manage them better. CIRCUS SKILLS WORKSHOP The Warehouse Circus School Holiday Workshops cater to young people who have never done any circus before and those with prior experience of circus on which they can build. A selection of different skills will be offered including tumbling, acro-balance, stilt walking, unicycle, Rolla bola, hula hoop, juggling, diabolo, staff and poi twirling. Two Circus Skills workshops will be held during the September school holidays at the Queanbeyan Conference Centre on Tuesday 27th and Jerrabomberra Community Centre on Thursday 29th. Classes are three hours in duration and will cost $5 per child. Children aged between 10 and 17 years are encouraged to REGISTER NOW!
