Land Transport
With approximately 25,000 employees at more than 720 locations,
DB Schenker Logistics is Number 1 in European land transportation. The
business segment links the most important economic regions in some 40
European countries with a network of about 32,000 regular services per week.
DB Schenker provides its customers with time and cost-effective services for
general cargo and partially and fully loaded transports. The company’s offer
also includes logistics chains with a strong rail component for the European and
trans-continental market which combine both economically and environmentally

Contract Logistics/SCM
In contract logistics, DB Schenker, with almost 14,000 employees at over 500
locations in 58 countries on all continents, offers customized logistics solutions
for industry and commerce. In the global rankings for contract logistics,
DB Schenker ranks fifth in global contract logistics and is one of the leading
providers in automotive logistics in Europe. DB Schenker recently introduced its
new “Go for Growth” program for contract logistics. The core of the program,
which is scheduled to run for four years, is to invest in solutions and industrial
