been made with the instructor.
Class Participation: Class participation as well as attendance are taken very seriously and will account for 10% of
the final grade. If you do not attend class regularly and participate in class, your course grade will be impacted.
Georgia Tech Honor Code: Students in this class are expected to abide by the Georgia Tech Honor Code and to
avoid any instances of academic misconduct, including but not limited to:
1. Use of cell phones during class. Place cell phones in your bag and turn them off.
2. Possessing, using, or exchanging improperly acquired written or oral information in the preparation of
homework, class project, and exams.
3. Use of material that is wholly or substantially identical to that created or written by another individual or group.

Web site: We plan to use the course website, https:\\Courses.ce.gatech.edu\Course Pages\200408\CEE2300A,
extensively. There, you will be able to find the syllabus, “hand outs” (virtual and otherwise), homework,
presentation material and other interesting information. You should also receive e-mail from us via the associated
class list. If you have trouble accessing the site, but are properly enrolled in the class, please see the TA (Rosa:
contact information above). If you believe that you are enrolled in this class, but have not received e-mail from us
in the next week, again, see the TA.
Exams: Exams will be given at the end of each section of the class, though may be comprehensive in nature. You
will be told ahead of time if they are to be open or closed book. The only electronic device allowed to be present
during an exam is a calculator: no cell phones, PDAs, computers, etc. Use or presence of forbidden devices will
result in your receiving a zero (0) on that exam.
