The maximum number is 12. Participants should plan to attend all 10 sessions. Venue: The venue will be based in Barnsley Time: Typically a 2 hour session each week for 10 weeks (dates do not fall in school holidays) Dates: Please see the main webpage for the start date for the course What is the training like? This is accredited training. Successful participants gain 9 credits at either Level 2 or Level 3 (NVQ equivalent) via APT awards. The training is informal and interactive. Participants have an electronic portfolio to complete made up of weekly homework. This can often be done in their work setting. Participants need to register an email address, either personal or work in order to submit homework. Homework is marked by the Elklan certified course tutors. Please note: this price may be subject to change should the accreditation body or Elklan increase their fees. The change is usually small. The last annual increase was by £2.50 This includes the 2 hours of face to face classroom teaching per week, marking of portfolios, the accreditation fee, the course manual and access to the Elklan web-site for the duration of the course and for a time limited period afterwards.
