You will need to create a Newsletter folder in your Technology folder on the Server. You will
be required to complete research for a social justice issue and a vocation. All research should be
saved in your Newsletter Folder on your network drive and name the Word document

sources used (URLs for websites). Research details:
1. Social Justice Issue research must identify a LOCAL charitable organization that you
might be interested in volunteering at. You need to research the location, services offered,
hours of operation, donation items needed and any requirements for volunteering
(applications, dress code, etc.). You will need to save at least 3 picture files related to the
organization. Keep in mind when you are selecting an organization, why do you want to
volunteer for this organization? Why is it important to you? All research must be
contained in your research word document including your sources.
2. Vocation research must identify a vocation that you may be interested in pursuing
sometime in your life. An example of a vocation is Vocation means a call. It is God’s
invitation, His call to each person to love and serve Him and His Church in a
particular state or way of life. Each person's vocation flows from the grace of
Baptism. Vocations associated with your religion can be selected from a wide range of
jobs including: associations with youth ministry, choir, Altar Server, Extraordinary
Minister, Stephen Ministries, and teacher, Deacon, Nun or Priest. Your research should
contain a description of the vocation, what responsibilities it entails, and any training or
educational requirements. You will need to save at least 3 picture files related to the
vocation. Keep in mind when you are selecting a vocation, why do you want to follow
this calling? Why is it important to you? All research must be contained in your research
word document including your sources.
