UNDERLIGHTS sound is a guitar inspired melting pot of folk, blues and pop blending Beatles-esk psychedelia Press for Underlights: RICHARD KINGSMILL – TRIPLE J “This is killer. Great with contemporary indie rock. With influences ranging work” from UK heroes Oasis and The Stone Roses, to the THE AU REVIEW “You’ll feel like you’re in a Mustang, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and The Black Angels, it’s cruising down a desert road somewhere in the barren outskirts of Nevada with the sun belting down against clear to see that UNDERLIGHTS wear their inspirations on their sleeve. Whilst the band’s influences are clear, your aviators.” ORANGEPRESS “The music had a 70′s folk/rock revival they still manage to keep a unique approach and with a 90′s sensibility. Lush harmonies and vocal maintain a classic Australian aesthetic, which is rare in dynamics. It had a cool swagger to it and seriously the current musical landscape and separates them catchy” from the next crop of up and coming acts. DAN BUHAGIAR – TRIPLE J “A great, dreamy pop song that's like a splash a summer sunshine on your skin. Makes you warm and fuzzy and totally want to soak up more.” Relevant Links: www.triplejunearthed.com/UNDERLIGHTS www.underlights.bandcamp.com/ www.facebook.com/UNDERLIGHTS Playing extensively throughout Sydney and Melbourne, the band have supported the likes of The Jezabels, You Am I, The Underground Lovers, The Howling Bells and The Mess Hall.
