FACTS…Tuition Assistance through the Archdiocese….for the 2015-2016 school year. You must be Catholic to qualify. Please see the attached flyer for information on how to get on to the website and apply. If you are going to apply, you need to start applying now. The deadline for paper applications is March 20th….for online applications it is March 31st. Also, if you are going to be requesting tuition assistance through the school and you are NOT Catholic, you still need to apply to FACTS. It provides us with information to review our applicants so that we can disperse funds responsibly. Keep in mind, that if you are receiving tuition assistance through the school this year, it DOES NOT automatically rollover year to year. You have to apply to FACTS and meet with the principal each year. If you have any questions about this process, please contact the school office. RAFFLE…We are now seeking donations for our annual Fall raffle. We must have our raffle prizes selected by March 13th to apply for our raffle license through the Department of Justice. This raffle has brought in over $10,000 each year, and is an important source of funding for the school. If you have an idea for a new and unique raffle prize, please let us know! In the past we have raffled off $1,000 cash, overnight stays at the Coast, TVs, iPads, and barbeques. We thank you in advance for your help in securing some wonderful prizes for this fundraiser! While there, Jesus was transfigured and appeared with Moses and Elijah. Peter, being nervous and wanting to please Jesus, offered to make three tents – one for each of them. Suddenly, they heard the voice of God proclaiming, “This is my beloved son. Listen to Him.” When this was all done and the four were heading back down the mountain, Jesus made them promise not to tell anyone what had happened until he had risen from the dead. What do you think the word “transfigured” means? If you were one of the disciples and saw this, what would your reaction be? Do you think it was easy for the disciples to keep this secret? Why or why not? Can you keep a secret when asked to?
