the band has been widely known as one of the most entertaining and interactive party
bands in the world. Their shows are always

The Landsharks have performed for millions of
people all over the world. There’s probably a
good chance that you’ve seen the Landsharks
or know someone who has. The Landsharks
have played almost EVERYWHERE!
The Landsharks have played from Key West to
Diego Garcia, an island in the middle of the
Indian Ocean (a U.S. Naval Refueling Base
where they entertained our troops) and everywhere in between. And there are many
stories to tell along the way…….
Once, The Landsharks were performing at a Key West, Florida concert when Jimmy
Buffett made a surprise visit and asked if he could perform with the band. After
performing for the first time with The Landsharks, he liked the band so much that he hired
them “on the spot.” as house band for his brand new Margaritaville Café at Universal
Studios, Florida and had them open up for him at the grand opening. After performing
with them, Jimmy Buffett proclaimed that “The Landsharks are showmen, they’re fun.
They’re a fun band” and also said “Funny thing was, The Landsharks knew the songs
better than I did. And I loved some of their arrangements.” The Landsharks have
performed with Buffett several times since, and you never know where he could show up
again!
In addition to Jimmy Buffett, they have also opened up for several major artists, including
The Beach Boys, Patti Labelle, Three Dog Night, War, Club Trini, Inner Circle, and more,
always bringing their loyal fans along. They have performed at parties for Bill Gates of
Microsoft, Michael Eisner of Walt Disney, filmmaker George Lucas, the prime minister of
Canada, and many other notables. They have played at Margaritaville, Walt Disney
World, Universal Studios, Las Vegas and a host of other renowned venues.
The Landsharks were also the first band to play at Bob Marley’s Café, for guests including
Bob’s wife Rita Marley. The Landsharks have also performed hundreds of shows in Walt
Disney World including the Millennium New Year’s Eve show. The band was selected
from thousands of entrants to be the opening act for the Beach Boys at the First Flight
Centennial Celebration in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina in 2003! They played not once, but
twice, for the New England Patriots organization during Super Bowl XXXIX festivities,
including the post game party. They also performed twice at the American MusicFest in
Harrisburg, PA, the Illinois and Nevada State Fairs. They were selected to play at the first
ever “Concert for the Cure” to support breast cancer. They also played at pre-Super Bowl
events for the past two years.
The Landsharks play a variety of music! They are versatile, entertaining, interactive and
fun! At a Landsharks show, it’s possible you could see flying inflatable sharks, and
members of the audience playing along with the band on the band’s supply of percussion
instruments such as tambourines, maracas, and more.
